Welcome to Bali Zoo
the first and the only zoo in Bali.
Bali Zoo is the perfect wildlife conservatory for the finest collection of Indonesian and other countries exotic animals.
The Zoo takes visitors on a virtual jungle tour, where you can see the animals close up, and admire the tropical flora and beautiful setting.
Entering the exotic world of fauna, visitors are welcome by our friendly staff, warm repeated song of Siamangs, a lazy gigantic crocodile, and the biggest lizard of the world, the Komodo Dragon!
The songs of various kinds of birds, such as the Bali starlings, peacocks, cassowaries, cockatoos and many other Asian birds greet visitors as they walk along the paths with lush tropical plantations and soft sound of fountains drops from the surrounding ponds.
Explore our finest collection of deer, kangaroos, reptiles, primates, tigers and many other species…It's a really fun day out for all the family, and an educational experience
Location
Situated in the cultural heart of Bali, the zoo is only 15 minutes drive from Ubud, and 45 minutes from the tourist areas of Kuta, Tuban, Legian and Seminyak. The sandy white beaches of Sanur are only 20 minutes' drive away or a 1 hour drive from Nusa Dua Resort.
Operation Hours
Open Daily: 9am to 9pm. Every day of the year (except Nyepi - Balinese day of silence).
Entry fee:
* Adult: USD 20 * Child (2 - 14yrs): USD 10
* Infants under 2 years: Free
* Family Pass (2 adults & 2 children): USD 54.50
Domestic/KITAS holder entry
* Adult: Rp55.000
* Child (2 - 14yrs): Rp27.500
* Infants 0 - 2yrs: Free

Dining Facilities
Try our first class restaurant, Starbhoga, for a mouth-watering meal. All tastes are catered for. For snacks and cold drinks, we have small stalls located throughout the zoo grounds.
If you would prefer to bring your own food, we also have a new BBQ and picnic area available for your use.
Functions
Bali Zoo's grounds and five star restaurant are available to hire for your next function. Weddings, birthdays, corporate events - send us an email - and we'll work with you to create an event to remember!
Gifts and Souvenirs
You can purchase special Bali Zoo souvenirs, such as: photo frames, T-shirts, mugs, egg paintings and many other interesting handicrafts at the souvenir shop inside the zoo or at the restaurant.
Guided tours
For groups of ten or more, pre-book via email , and we will have one of our English speaking guides show you around for no more than the cost of your admission.
